Why Phuket?
Phuket is simply awesome. There is everything that the men’s heart desires. On the one hand, the sometimes most beautiful dream beaches worldwide, super delicious food, friendly people and relaxation and holiday feeling. On the other the all relaxing massage with hand or blowjobs for “quick times” in between, sex with the omnipresent, willing freelancers on a daily or weekly basis, and have fun with the girls from the quite large beer and Gogobar scene.
Phuket has always been my favorite island; Anyway since I travel to Asia. Just because there is everything Thailand has to offer. This is not the case in any other place in Thailand. The island is big enough for that, but not unmanageable. You can easily go on a day with a rental bike or car around the island without bothering with it, and still something to see and experience.
Although Boracay is close to making Phuket some competition, it’s not the same thing. The Philippines are a very different construction site, and Bora is also quite small against Phuket.
Also, Koh (the thail word for “island”) Phuket has changed over the years, not just obvious and recognizable to anyone through construction work, the tourist scene itself and the girls’ services have changed with time. Unfortunately, but you can still make the best of it, and if you do, you will still have fun on the island. The tourist flows in Patong and on the other beaches meanwhile consist mostly of couples and / or families with children. Phuket is about 1 hour flight south of Bangkok in the beautiful Andaman Sea. Phuket has a small bridge to the mainland for several years and is therefore also accessible by bus, but the ride from Bangkok lasts a whopping 12 hours. So you better use the plane. The quiet seaside resort of Khao Lak (which has gained fame through the tsunami in 2004), which is a favorite with family tourists, is also accessible via the airport in Phuket. The dive sites of the Similan Islands, which are very popular with divers, are located about 70 km north of the island and are visited from here in multi-day diving excursions.
Coming from Europe, the most comfortable way to travel is probably Thai Airways, as you have to change in Bangkok (photo above), but the luggage is looped through.
By immigration you go in the transit area in Bangkok. Thai has a number of daily flights to Phuket, so long waiting times do not arise.
